The Bed Is Too Crowded...Help

Dear Platzki,

Hubby and I have been married almost 19 years.  We have a king sized bed because my Great Dane sleeps with us.

How do I get my dear husband to find another place to sleep?  He snores, hogs the covers and wakes me in the middle of the night constantly.  My dane, on the other hand, is the perfect bed buddy.

After this long, don't I deserve a good night's sleep?

Guess Platzki's not around, but I'll tell you what I think.

Yes you do deserve a good night's sleep.  I suggest putting a sleeping bag in the dog house and then chaining him to it by his ankle.  He'll get the hint sooner or later! .... now, if he keeps the neighbors awake, I can't help you there.  Sweet Dreams!

Hey Fine!  Sorry... I was at the sea shore for a few days...

I think I would go to bed first, take the dog with me and lock the bedroom door so hubby can't get in.  Leave his work clothes in a pile outside the door with a pillow and blanket.  A few nights of that and he won't even bother trying to go to bed.  But you'll need to be strong and stick to your guns if you want to have a good nights sleep.

Remember tho... you'll need to kick out the four legged dog and let the two legged one in every once in a while... wink... wink...  :smileylol
