Hey...what happened to all those people that were HB 'cheerleaders'? Don't hear squat from them anymore. Did HB disappear or implode?

Last I heard they were all gathered in the shushbin admiring the owners NASCAR cape he failed to deliver on the last give a way.

Carol joined before me, and I think brought me to Hibidder (thank you Carol......  )

Her date sounds about right.  Accordingly to the Alexa info., the domain was acquired in July 05, but I do not think there were listings until Dec or a bit later that year. 

I was user 127.....

If you're ever bored silly with nothing to do, you can go thru this link:  and replace the 127 with any # you decide to see if they are:

A.  Still there.
B.  Don't Exist - such as Me.
C.  Banned - which I don't see.

User number ten is Steph - Richie's wife!

Carol - you're still there - you were user 59!!  You're not banned yet.....why the he!! not?   

Cherry Pits - There is only one remaining admin/moderator/volunteer/cheerleader from when I was there - mrflibbles.  And - her last post at PSU was a large can of Troll Spray - if I remember correctly.

When I left, I think there were 8-10 moderators/volunteers/etc.  They are down to 1 of that group and possibly 3-4 others (last I heard)...

Yah, I went over to my HB account just to see if I was banned or not. As of this morning I wasn't. I thought maybe after the last dustbin comment about being 1 of the TROLLS I wouldn't be able to get in.

Oh well, doesn't matter to me one way or the other. Chances of ever wanting to try to sell there again are slim.

I signed up for it twice. Once when Ron mentioned it back on VOR and then I changed ISPs and signed up again. ( Couldn't remember what my login was....DOH!!)

Guess what...I'm still in their system. You'd think.....never mind. We are talking about HB after all!!

I went to nose around and can't log in. My e-mail is still there, I used it to recover my user name, but the e-mail never came.

Boy oh boy! Is anyone home in HiBidder?? How many "contact us" messages does it take before you get a response or action from them??? Way, way back in October (the 24th), I had asked dear 'ol Richaroonie if I could begin to relist in HB, and if I could, could the "suspended" be removed so that I could. If it was decided that I could not, I had asked for my account to be deleted.. Remember my "unique" status... "PREFERRED SUSPENDED"??
Well, here is my latest "contact us". As I am still in HB as a "Preferred Suspended" seller.

I sent this on the 8th of this month. Hmmmm, how many days does it take the pony, eh, ummm, maybe that should be the "SLUG" express???    to send a reply???

It's not like I ever really wanted to list there again.... I was just surprised that I was "allowed" to re-enter this dubious site after being banned for so long. So I thought I's see how far I could get...  Hmmmm, not getting too far am I??

I can NOT imagine why anyone would want to be re-instated
on HiBidder.

Based on the experiences of many, many others...
Based on the level of customer service....
Based on the deception by the owner/manager...
Based on the snippy attitude of the mods....

I would have to question the reason and sanity of ANYONE who would want to be re-instated to that site.  I think you made the right decision when you requested to be completely removed from the site.

Sorry about the back-to-back posts, but I couldn't figure out how to edit my last message here.

If 50%. or even 25%. of the info I read about the HiBidder organization and problems are true I can't imagine why anyone would want to join or post listings on their site. 

I am not stupid.  I know there are two sides to every story and in 99.9% of the cases I've read there is only one side presented.  That tells me a couple things:

*  The events are true as they are posted
*   The owner/manager of HiBidder really do not care about their members.
*  The owner/manager is not smart enough to realize what even just a LITTLE bad press can and will do to an organization.

At any rate, someone needs to get the message to the HiBidder management that it does not matter how cute they are, how smart they think they are, how good their organization is.  The truth of the matter is there is a whole lot of bad press about this organization and it is not going away.  Every couple of weeks I read about someone new who has been messed over by this group.

If one is aware of the way this organization handles itself and chooses to stay with them, I don't feel sorry for them.

I do feel badly for newbies who stumble on HiBidder and are unaware of the situation.
