Great News for all - bays newly posted negative feedback as a npb by a Hibidder Seller/Admin/Moderator has been removed. While there was no communication, no apology and no explanation for the originating feedback or the removal - it is now gone!
So....posting about 'some' issues at PSU can result in 'some' resolution.
The mrflibbles response is ....
'priceless'
and well worth the read. And of course, it starts with
'Here we go again.....'
So -
first point
of mrflibbles post - place blame on a member for raising an issue about HiBidder. And of course, attempt to ensure that ALL WHO read 'see' who is really the 'pot-stirrer'.
Second point
of mrflibbles post - I have a brain, I came up with this 'great idea' to smear a member all on my own - Rich was innocent on this one!!!! (Except - Rich owns the site; last I checked, this does make him responsible for actions of volunteers on the site.)
Third point
made - IN THE PAST
(uhmmmmmm......I thought bringing up 'old issue' was 'inappropriate and unprofessional' - oh.....never mind - it's only STUPID to raise issues, old, new, current, still occurring - IF YOU ARE A CUSTOMER....)
----RICH USED TO DELETE Records regularly.
Fourth point
- It really wasn't me, nor Rich, but actually the upgraded script (let's pass the blame to the phpprobid tool) is flawed.
It miraculously recreated deleted records
in our database for me to leave you npb feedback.
5th Point
- you are the problem bays. I say so as I can see the items and leave feedback for you. Even though I never sent an invoice, and even though the system deleted all the records in February, and even though we agreed THEN that we would just forget about the transaction - you are the problem. You see, since then you became public enemy # 1, 2, 3 and possibly more. Why you ask? Because you dare to:
- speak the truth.
- tell the world that contest winnings may/may not ever get paid.
- ask too darn many business questions.
- try too hard to get answers to business issues, personal attacks and harassing actions.
Final Point Made
- I am a volunteer admin at Hibidder. If you pizz me off, I can not only see and change your personal information in our systems, I can create fictitious auctions - that mirror past 'deleted' auctions - and say anything I want about you - even call you a NPB!
And, I do feel 100% justified as the powerful mrflibbles volunteer admin at hibidder.com in smearing your name - since you publicly announced that we do NOT pay money in our contests. Shame on you bays - weren't you taught as a youngster that dishonesty is the right policy to belong at Hibidder? We kept trying to tell you, and you would not listen.
Yes....I think this last post by mrflibbles clearly demonstrates the attitude, intelligence and so much more about the hibidder.com school of thinking!

New thread at PSU that has just more or less been sitting there with only one response. I applaud the OP for their efforts but to have it sit there this long without a response says the HB folk have no intentions of resolving anything. The PSU Mods again see fit to ignor it and push this thread under the carpet.
Here is how it goes...
Posted by galateasheirlooms: Tue Dec 18, 2007 7:43 pm Post subject: My Final word about Hibidder to the Disgruntled
Quote
I think by now, it's safe to say that Hibidder has chosen its path. Here is what you who have been disappointed by their actions need to do:
Bays - Contact the attorney general in Hibidder's home state. If he had a contest, he is legally bound by it. It is illegal and an extreme no no to hold fraudulent contests. He has to prove you received your prizes and he followed rules for his contest. There are fines, jail sentences, etc in store for him in all likelihood if he cannot. Sorry haters, but there are strict rules out there about contests. BBB is not where you go. Attorney general for his state is.
2boys - Have a legal cease and desist drawn up to remove your info from the site starting 1-1-08. Since claims have been that this record is for tax purposes, it does not have to be visible to others after this point. Actually, legally, when you say you want your info to no longer be on his site, he has to remove it, as does "the bay" if you have a c&d drawn up and have not created anything that must be a matter of record. I think he's standing on the laurals of an Ebay NARU. Even ebay has to remove IDs if it is asked. If he still refuses, tell him he must change the id to something that is not recognizable as your name, something Ebay does when requested, so the record is still there but anonymous. Ebay also has AN APPEAL PROCESS where they prove the reasoning behind NARU. It's not always perfect, but there is legal recourse if the NARU is deemed wrong. Not everyone pursues this though. He's just being beligerant. But if he still wants to be a jerk, rest assured, his business practices will NOT make his site have any staying power.
Hibidder - TAKE THE HIGH ROAD FOR ONCE. Show us that you have compassion and help these ladies find resolution. After all, you all worked together once. How shameful that you have let this happen. When a bad business practice causes so much hurt, it's time to step back, re-examine it all, and make ammends. Haven't you heard that the customer is always right? Sellers are your customers. Close up shop if you're so thin skinned you can't find a way through this depressing crap.
All Cheerleaders, Fighters, etc - Let Hibidder fight his own fight for once. You guys look really negative. You're not defending anyone. He doesn't want to be defended. He is not a victim anyway. Just step back and let him take the arena. If he doesn't, then he's just a coward and not worth your loyalty. Get it? If PSU has problems, PSU stands up for PSU. Jumps right in the mud. Does not let others fight PSU's battles.
PSU - I truly apologise for this post. I think all of this needs resolved. It won't be as long as the parties involved think they have the power to move one another. Bravo for making such a successful site, and hopefully this will all finally end.
PSU Readers - Christmas is a time for giving and forgiving. Forgiving does not mean you forget, and nowhere in the bible did it ever say that. That is a thing Benjamin Franklin said one wise morning in his almanac. Forgiving does not mean that you set yourself up for abuse either. Just walk away guys. I see this stirred up with every post praising hibidder. When you think about the ill things that site has done in the name of vindictiveness, you rent out a little part of your heart to them. They don't deserve it. Heck, how do you know every one of the cheerleaders aren't just family members or incarnations of the one who refuses to explain his actions. Okay I've spent plenty of my time on Hibidder. I don't care anymore. Truly. It's over for me. I care about the people involved - not heartless you know, but the main thing that is going on here is that we are wasting too much space on Hibidder.
Could he have recovered after the contest? Only had he told us what was going on and entered the arena with a clear, non-emotional head. Could he recover after being rude and hiding so long? Dubious. It's sad though. I really wanted him to succeed.
We all did I think. I think that's why we were all so emotional about it.

Joe:
You crack me up!!!! I will share that there is a 'reason' or a few why Elgato posts news at PSU:
1. Share news - really to add links and to boost page rankings.
2. Bump down controversial threads.
Having said that, I agree 100% with the OP - but we all know that since I (the queen ... banned for life from Hibidder.com queen) stir up the trouble it's best I don't post.
My personal perspective, which I'm slower at times to 'get to' - if I'm restricted on what I can post and where I can post at PSU, I'm not going to post at all. Too many other places appreciate my input, humor, candor and truth - right? (pssssst.....this is the time 4 you all to agree with me - esp. since I feel like doo-doo and am sick)!!!
I have not 'seen' it with my own eyes, but here the new forum at hibidder is very 'cultish' - same folks, same crap - different day. Too bad and so sad - at one time, hibidder had the best forums, with the best information, answers, etc.
Later good folks - gotta go play 'maid' while my parents are out-n-about (cleaning their room)!!!

Got a 'heads up' from a great friend, and just verified - bays and I both no longer exist on hibidder.com! I'm thrilled to death - not certain why it took a lifetime ++++++, but I'm user (or was user) 127 - and.......no longer 'associate' with the hibidder.com site.

1. A user asked about Dutch listings, as they noticed numerous listings for the exact same thing.
2. An answer was given that includes the policy allows 10 of like/same item.
3. Another user comes along and suggests they would not buy from a seller that has more than 10 of the same (which there was one/two).
4. That user gets accused of being someone incognito.
~~~~~~~~~~~Insert Erin~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Across all of my points, I'm in that thread trying to be a politically correct peace-maker
5. That users IP address gets banned from HiBidder on the same day that the user is posting at PSU - asking 'questions' about Hibidder ....
6. Along comes another HiBidder.com seller defending herself as she believes she's the 'incognito' person.
7. Fancy the fact that she too is banned from HiBidder without reason, cause, a note or an explanation (I know - you are very surprised right now - and you are just wondering ... how oh how can that be?
)
Erin,
you are so "politically correct"... I was the one that got banned because of a co-worker (that has been rehired and we are still at each others throat
) that came in on a work computer, like I did many times. This co-worker asked about the listings. Not that I don't think her question was not valid, it was in my opinion. The mass banning was the pathetic thing though. As you know, as I pm'd you during the recent psu controversy you were/are having, that until recently, I still could not access HB. When they made changes (?? not really sure) all of a sudden I was able to acess not only the site, but my store! Oh my! After what they accused me of, and not being able to access, I "assumed" (shame shame on me!
) that they also closed my store.
So... da ti da... I use the "contact me" feature and ask if I am allowed to once again list items there... (lol,,,,, are you following me here?
) Of course, I didn't get any response to my first inquiry.
So, about a week or so later, I use the contact me feature again... Lo and behold.... "Rich" (or someone pretending to be Rich) contacts me, telling me that he never had any issues with me. BUT conveniently avoids the question about removing the "suspended" from me, so I could. I responded to that exact email,once again asking about the removal of the suspended.. and guess what? (hey, anyone think I got an answer???) NOT! So, since they refuse to close out Erins info, I decided not to even waste my time requesting what I know they will not do. BTW, it was also I that firmly believes then and even now that there is a partiality of psu to hb. AND that there is a PSU or two mod that passes along IP addys as well as other information to HB. I cannot prove it, but its one of those things you just know.... Like they say, actions speak volumns!
Ok, Erin, everyone... let's keep a tally...
I've gotten very tired of being a "Preferred Suspended" seller on HB, and have been, IMHO, extremely patient waiting for a response from Rich to my resonse to him last october inquiring whether or not the "suspended" part would be taken off so that I could list again. To date... I've yet to get a response from him. I hope they don't say that they pm'd me via HB community forum, as I've never "re-joined" that, and never got a notification that I would have had one anyway.... So.... are we gonna take bets to see how long, if ever, I get a response to my latest request? Or if they will honor it at all? Or does this have to be anther HB being picked on scenerio?
The real problem about using their "contact us" link, is that unless they respond to you, you have no proof of sending it to begin with. Here is my SECOND "contact us" correspondence to them, and I have this only because "He" actually responded to me on this one.
His response.... (note complete avoidance of my question regarding the suspension)
My *immediate* response to him....
(note that I again ask about the "suspension" for clarification....)
And now, since I STILL have not heard from "them" or "him", my recent "response"
Taking bets.... My password will be changed, I will be locked out (again!
), BUT, my info will remain... Erin... how did you asertain that even though you were locked out, your info was still there? I could use help on this end...
Julz - first....great to see ya and Happy New Year girl!!!
OK - now to business - I was able to 'see' that my information was still 'there' as I knew my #.
So.....this link -
http://www.hibidder.com/u...putation.php?user_id=XXXX
- REPLACING the XXXX with your user number was how I kept checking for me and my information!
I was user 127. If you look at this seller's feedback:
http://www.hibidder.com/u...putation.php?user_id=1077
, I am the 2nd one - with no name. If you click thru the feedback #, it tells you 'user doesn't exist'.
So - I found your user # - it's 1037. And here's a link to 'you' - or your feedback, which suggests you are still 'there'.....
http://www.hibidder.com/u...putation.php?user_id=1037
I tried to do an advanced search by seller for JuliArtz, and nothing come up. I don't know if it's broken or not - as when I searched for Angelsolutions (Sylvia), it too produced no results. So - I did go look at the stores list, and it appears that Angelsolutions - user 267 no longer has her store stocked. Her feedback is still there, so she's still active - so the search by seller and/or by store only shows stores with items listed.
Hope this helps you!!! And - good luck! I never did get any communication whatsoever, and Rich has my home phone, cell phone, personal email, business email, address - etc. and never heard squat from him. Just one day - I was 'poof' gone - another person told me - who shall remain nameless.
Felt the need, as the auction counts at PSU are way up today to revisit Hibidder and see what's up and what's driving the growth:
November 5th:
Live auctions - 27063
Valued Members - 3840
stores - 161
stores with active items - 117
stores without active items - 44
Sell thru rate - can NOT be determined
Interesting fact - the top 3 stores account for 14,414 listings which make up more than 50% of the total of all the listing's on the site. Also please note that the #1 store is a repeat offender when you apply the site rule of 10 of the same item (every item shows 11 or 12 copies of the same item).
Hibidder moderators or admins. account for 16,926 items.
Hibidder moderators or admins. account for 17 of the active stores.
11/30
Hibidder.com moderators or admins. now account for approximately 17,900 of the listings. They still account for either 16 or 17 of the stores, and the majority of these are drop ship items listed redundantly. The numbers game is alive and well at hibidder.com.
Today's Stats:
4,054 Members
34,209 Auctions
14 Members online (this never drops below 10 - real or fudged....you decide)
180 Stores Shown - up from November
98 Stores with Items - down from November
82 Stores with 0 Items
Of the 98 Stores:
36 have 10 or less items
40 have above 10 -100
11 have above 100 - 250
11 have 250 or above
Moderators manage 7 identified active stores (may be more).
These stores account for ~~21,700 of the listings or 64% of the total.
10 pages of items are listed with 'no seller' -
- looks like a database issue to me:
http://www.hibidder.com/a...er_id&order_type=DESC
So - net, net - the ~~5,000 listings increase on PSU is moderators making up for departing sellers.
Charts for those who like photos:
- this month
- last week
- last month
As sellers close listings and depart from the site, the dropshippers add repeats and/or new product. The number one store still has no feedback, which can be equated to no sales - but it was never intended to be a 'sales producer' - it was created to boost site count #s...
I guess the no more than 10 of same item has been modified as the # 1 store has 11 of a few and the family friendly status has uhum.....changed just a bit -
http://www.hibidder.com/2...uction_id,auction_details
There are 4 items with bids tho - which is a drastic improvement over recent sales activity there.
I still do 'not exist' and Julz still exists - so no changes on the most recent discussion here about hibidder.com. Hope you enjoy this update!
Well, have not been reading up here on HB, but I sure can add something.
Another sucker here!
I won a Nascar jacket from Rich on 12/5/2007. No jacket has come to my house after
contacting him several times. I have gotten excuses and heard it will be here any day within the last 2 months.
After contacting one of his Admins through a PM on the HB forum, Rich called me
on the phone and asked me to remove all my auctions. He could have looked and saw
I had already removed them. DUH! After contacting the Admin again via PM, he banned me from the forum. Unable to login. We all learn eventually, don't we.
On man, not another phantom "prize" !!!
I'm glad to see that HB isn't on the first, somewhat raucaus "vote for alt" thread over on PSU. While it did show up on the other poll, it only has 2 votes. So it looks like people are FINALLY figuring out that Rich isn't all he claims to be.
