What is up with AuctionQuests, huge jump in listings today.

Not sure what is going on here but there was a jump of 20,000+ listings today at this site. Something else looks a little strange, take a look:

Auctions: 111,060
Wanted Ads: 6
Items Sold: 1,791
Categories: 15,690
Page Views: 11,056,150

Now PSU has it at 91,680. A manuel count shows 91,681 (PSU is normally 1 short of a picnic) so where are the other 19,000+ plus listings as stated on the site?

Thanks for posting.  I have never been to that site before but clicked the link and went in to check it out.  Besides the fact it was very very slow to load while in there I clicked on some of the featured auctions to see how they appear.  All the information stated that they were no longer available for sale

Really slow for me today too - not sure why.  I've been to the site a few times in the past, and did not experience this loading issue.  I did click thru one of the featured items and it is 'there' for me!

Count today is exactly the same (On AQ Site) as what Joe posted above.  However, the PSU count went down by another 20k +/- to 71,274.

How strange is that?  Somebody - either AQ or PSU - may have changed some counting methodology or something - that's all I can figure out - eh?

When I clicked on some of the featured items they were there for me as well.  Displayed very nicely etc., however when I read about the item it clearly stated that bidding was over, had been over and the item was not available.

    .... that's what I get for being in a hurry.....

I went back over to see if I saw what you saw (are ya following that?!)  ...

and I do see one that has a past date for ending - how strange is that?  I clicked thru to try and see if there were many more like that and it's still very slow for me and I do not see a way to sort those that are featured to check how many are 'affected'.

I guess I'll track down AQ-Ray and share our experience.
