At least it might be if it was done right...
The Crabby Marketplace
Established: July 17, 2007
WPSSU Stores Directory
originally named The WPSSU Marketplace
Established: September 4, 2007
It's bad enough when some people can't have an original thought and feel the need to
steal
the ideas of others, but it's a downright shame when they can't even set it up properly.
------------------------------
Please Note: I did not include a hotlink to WPSSU's cheap imitation of our marketplace, however if you're not IP banned and would like to see this atrocity for yourself just go to: wpssu.com/stores

I am ISP banned Tavern Wench but there are ways around that
I was kind of shocked about them stealing the same name as your creation. Then when I looked at it I had a good laugh.
The 'acting' CEO there must LOVE to come visit over here to see what is new

I find it pretty funny, the last time I heard from the acting CEO (she needs acting school to begin with) she told me that I should just go F### Myself. Strange that I never assumed she wanted to watch me do that.
Hey April, get a good long look whenever you are here because without stealing ideas you are nothing but a site manipulating Alexa on multiple sites including your poor excuse for a Zen Cart site that attempts to sell sports cards.
They never had an original idea in the history of We PiSS on yoU and they never will. Begging for money to keep that place afloat seems to be the marketing plan.

This is REALLY amusing!
After I posted this thread, a new post was made on WPSSU announcing that the "WPSSU Marketplace / Stores" would now be the main frontpage of the wpssu.com website in hopes of getting indexed better.
That might work if they had REAL traffic on the site.
I can honestly say and Joe/The Bar Keep can back me up on this...I had a paid front page banner/link on the WPSSU.com homepage for over 3 months. I received a grand total of MAYBE 3 hits and two of those were from the Canadian owners of the site.
The owner of wpssu.com tried to tell me I had received over 50 clicks a day on my banner. Only thing I can say about that is "bullsh!t"! I have user tracking installed on all of my ZenCart websites and it shows me exactly who was on the site, where they came from and every click they made while there. I received NO TRAFFIC from the wpssu.com site.
That's right April...I can see every move you make when you're visiting the Crabby Marketplace looking for more ideas to steal.
They've also been 'tweaking' it to try to improve the appearance.
Keep trying April...it's still a STOLEN idea and a very bad imitation.

Liz...Cranky
I found this rather amusing too....
This is coming from a person supposedly giving advice to members on how to sell and market their websites.
that hurts

The site has made a lot of mistakes. First one not being very to Wagglepop almost making fun of them. The other mistake was stating to kick people out when they diagreed with the powers in charge. April is not a Brian. I'm sure if Brian was around he'd not be happy with what April is doing. I am looking where to put my advertizing dollars. I give the site 6 months and it will be gone.

Bob -
A lot of people who were 'kicked out' and ISP banned didn't even do anything wrong. It was only because they were associated with others whom Brian didn't like because they called him on things he had said.
Also that nice professional post April made regarding the WPSSU thread at TT didn't help matters too much

Bob...
I know a lot of people may not realize it, but Brian threw April under the bus when it comes to members being banned. Brian is the one who banned the original 15 members...all because they were associated with Joe and me. Joe and I were online and watched him go into our accounts and IP ban us. Then we watched (via a proxy) as each one of the other members were deleted from the members list one by one. April wasn't even online at the time.
Initially, Brian got mad at us when we told him he was out of line posting those Wagglepop bashing songs and threads. Then we confronted him about falsifying the WPSSU Alexa rankings with a manipulator script. After he lied to everyone about still starting an Auction site (he had told us differently), it was the straw that broke the camel's back. I told him I was resigning as an Admin and why I was doing so.
Now that being said, I'm in no way taking up for April either. She is every bit as bad as Brian only with a shorter fuse. She knows nothing about marketing or promoting a website and in my opinion is taking member's hard-earned money under false pretenses.
I agree with you 100% about the site folding within six months time. Honestly, I'll be surprised if it lasts that long.

Pretty compelling evidence there Tavern Wench. I was a member of WPSSU myself until one day I tried to login and I found out my ID was no longer active. I didn't post much there anyway because the place sounded like a playground for one persons point of view, the owner Brian. I am not IP banned there but I always found it funny that there was so many hidden threads that you could only view if you were a member. Is it still that way now? I just don't get, what is there to hide in a forum that is supposed to be there to help people.
Anyway, there is a striking similarity in the 2 sites in the screenshots. Is that legal would be my first question and the next would be who is actually advertising with WPSSU in that site. Would there be any conflict of interest if a site owner were to advertise with both sites?
I'm just curious because the WPSSU site seems to sort of make the Crabby Martketplace's idea look like crap in the site that WPSSU has put up. The site design at The Crabby Marketplace looks outstanding, like a site I would want to be associated with. The site design at WPSSU I can barely read and the logo's are fubared.
I would ask these questions at WPSSU but I am no longer a member there.

I also called him on the Wagglepop thing don't understand why I didn't banned. I think he realized he may have made a mistake> I know he hated Ray but I pointed it out to him it wasn't hurting Ray as much as the Wagglepop sellers. And he kind of did apoligize to the Wagglepop sellers and he was standing by them.

That's what most people didn't realize about Brian. He would come on the forum and post about standing behind the Wagglepop sellers and then in MSN he would bash and make fun of them to us. He even intercepted a PM between you and that lady that sold jewelry and posted it in MSN for us to see.
I really think the main reason he banned us was more so over the Alexa manipulation issue and the fact we knew the truth about him lying about his 'soon to open' auction site just to keep people hanging on.
BTW...I still have several of those MSN conversations saved on transcripts just in case I ever need them.

Bob
Hey Bob,
Just to back up and add to what Deb has said. Brian only apologized to the WP sellers because of strong suggestions to do so By myself and Deb. Maybe a few other people as well. Brian is not sick unless you are talking about being mental. I had advance warning of his so called illness and only had that advance warning because he was scared that we would out him for what he really is, a snake oil salesman.
April on the other hand, is blind and was blind to what Brian was doing behind the scenes although what deb has said is true, she is short tempered. What hasn't been said and I will is this. April has no business offering advice to online sellers. April stated, as noted in the screenshot above that she doesn't make hardly any money selling online, but yet still feels the need to run a forum that is supposed to be for helping online sellers. April's knowledge of how to operate independent websites is childish at best and her site design skills are equal to that of a six year old at best.
I will tell you this Bob, any changes or ideas that were made to WPSSU while I was a member there were stolen ideas from myself, Deb or a few others. What ultimatly caused the bannings in June was Brian's desire to be the big man or control freak. His ego got in the way and it cost him dearly. April was unaware of most of the behind the scenes stuff at the time, but when it comes to being a control freak who has much to hide, April is #1 at the moment.
As of the time of this post there has never been an IP that was banned from The Crabby Host nor have we had to delete a member. I know April attends this site quite often and steals ideas from here. If stealing ideas is the best she can do to make a difference to online sellers hey knock yourself out. Being able to copy an idea will never make you a success online. Having something original as the Crabby Host does, is what makes a difference.
