Desperately needing premature baby clothes please!

My daughter is expecting her 2nd child soon, but has been told he/she is not growing properly and is very small ie is expected to be no more than 4lb at term  .

I am madly knitting 12" cardigans, we have plenty or newborn and early baby, but even those are likely to be way too big.

Has anyone got premmie clothes for sale?

Hi Susie do you know what your daughter is having.

I have a box full of clothes that might come in useful if she has a girl.
My daughter had a little girl just over a year ago and she weighed 4lb and its not at all easy to find them kind of clothes to fit.

Another option is buying doll clothes.  When my twin girls were born, they weighed around 4 lbs. and we bought Cabbage Patch doll clothes for them.  They fit perfect! 

What drove us nuts was trying to find diapers that fit.  Even the smallest ones we could find at the local stores came up to their armpits.     Of course that was 17 yrs ago, so that part may have changed.

I would recommend the local Crisis center as well.  Around here they are very helpful to women who have premature babies.  I believe it serves as a pay it forward type of deal.  They help you and one day you help someone else.       Oh so happy in my world.
