A question for the music buffs

I had a curious order yesterday from someone that signed his name Edmund Duran Duran. I know there is a group by that name but I know nothing about the group. Is this just a fan or a member of the group ? The order was sent to Az. if that means anything.

Just curious as I don't think I've ever sold anything to anyone famous.

It isn't a member of the band Duran Duran, who got the band name from the movie Barbarella. There was a character in the movie named Duran Duran, so perhaps this person is a fan of the movie Barbarella.

OK, I knew about the charactor in Barbarella but I didn't know which came first -- the movie or the Band.
