Anyone Seen Bays Today?

Hey all:

Has anybody seen Bays today?  She's out in CA and with all those fires, I'm concerned.  Wes is out there also, but he's in the North so he's safe.

Shout out if you've seen her - or Bays....please let us know you're safe.  If there are any others here that are close to or affected by the fires, I'm sending thoughts, prayers and good vibes your way!!

       i have not seen bays 2 day  she lives SE of SAC'   and is safe  from any fires  , and i live  about 90 miles from the oregon border  !!!

Thanks Wes for sharing where she lives and that she should be out of harms way!  If I don't see her today around 'here' - I'll give her a call! 

I'm watching the morning news, and they say the winds shifted some fires - but I'm just not too share in which direction - since I'm in KS!

  sue and erin  ~  i have a niece and nephew  in so cal , but they are save  ,  my nice said that they could see flames from their home,

  i seen on the news  that the winds had died down , and more place were in the air  TG
 
     will check on other friends in so cal   !!!

You're welcome!  Being in KS, I get confused on my friends in CA and if they are or are not affected...bays is 'good' and out of harm's way as Wes shared!  She's been out of pocket with real life things....I talked with her this am!

Hi All,

Thanks for the concern! 

Just so happened I was in Sacramento all day yesterday with my friend that I take to the doctors.  His wife passed away last year from a long battle with cancer and I have stepped up to help me with doctor visits, shopping, etc.  Yesterday was a long day as we had 2 doctor visits in Sac which is a 1 1/2 hour trip each way.  I didn't get home until around 10:00 p/m last night.

I'm fine and far away from the fires!  Thank God!  God Bless those involved!

My mom called her cousin in San Diego. They are packed up and ready to leave if necessary. They have a motorhome parked in the driveway ready to go. They can't go outside because there is so much smoke. Their pool in the backyard is just covered in soot. She also said they are surround by fire. Yikes!
My mom says she was just so happy to hear from her that they ended up catching up on family and stuff, like nothing out of the ordinary was going on.

I can't imagine what I would do in that situation. Trying to figure out what to pack and what to leave behind.
I'm sending prayers there way.

Sue my prayers are with you and your family!  I listen to nothing but the news on the fire.  News now is that this fire was set!    God I hope that is mis-reporting. 

My girlfriends son goes to the University in SD and he came home last night as they closed the university for the remainder of the week.

Sue - I'm with you....I just think I'd be so overwhelmed -- it would be super hard to pick the 'right thing'.  I just can't imagine, and am glad to hear that those you know are OK! 

Bays - all the way in my world - KS - it's been the headline for every news report.  They've been showing photos and live action shots - and it is overwhelming to watch.  I do have to say that World New Tonight showed a gentleman who lost his entire home but was most concerned about his dog!!  While they were filming, the dog was found - it was touching.

I just can not imagine and my thoughts and prayers go out to all affected!
