Since it seems that BOTH of you forgot, I say no harm no foul.

Same thing happened to me. Nov 15 was our 33rd anniversary. We usually don't do much of anything but do at least acknowledge it. This year we were busy and on Saturday my mom mentioned somthing about it while we were all together, and we both said "ooopps" at about the same time.

Ray rarely gets our anniversary or my birthday right. I'm lucky if he even gets the right month.

My guy is the same way.  Never remembers my Birthday or Christmas, but I don't blame him.  It's never on the same day every year

A good example --

At the company before the last one Ray worked for, they were changing health insurance every 2 or 3 years (big PITB).

The last time they changed Ray put my birthday as Feb 9, 48 or something like that.  Wrong day, wrong year. At least he got the Feb part right. But whenever I would go somewhere where I had to show the insurance card, they would question that I was the right person. What was worse was that the insurance company did most everything thru their web site and IT was somehow set-up for a log-in with the birthdate. I could never get logged-in because I didn't know that and exactly what Ray used.
