eBay Hosts Outreach Effort

According to an eBay rep at the event, one purpose of this meet-and-greet is for some personal communication. The company wants its key employees from various departments to meet users face-to-face to get a better sense of problems and concerns that can't be acquired through e-mail and phone calls. Another reason, I was told, is a continuing effort by eBay to place more emphasis on its core auction format, which isn't surprising since its North American user base has been flat at approximately 84 million for several years.

  - I like the idea of this traveling road show - however, if they 'start this' efford and then stop it for any reason, again those who feel the pain are the 'customers'.  I too appreciate you sharing  this.  I have not heard anything about them coming to the KC area - if they do, I'll let ya know!!
