QUILTS Gazillion Questions...on my way to being Crabby!

Well just let me thank everyone in advance, because this post could last a lifetime, and I know how eager some of you are to tell me what to do.  Or in some cases.......where to head.

I purchased graphics, set up a auction template in microsoft word and now when I cut and paste the graphics do not appear yet the words do.  Any help would be appreciated.

I've never done an auction template in Microsoft Word...I use Microsoft Frontpage, BUT I'll try to help.   

I assume the pictures aren't showing after you put the template in an auction listing.
What you will need to do is upload your pictures to your website or someplace like photobucket to make them show up.  They're showing up in Word because they can find them on your computer, but once you use the template on eBay, it's not connected to your computer any longer...so it can't find the picture.  That's why you're just seeing the name.

Then in your template, where it has the 'name of the picture' in the html, you'll need to replace the name with the url of the picture.

The html code for showing a picture is:

A text hyperlink is done like this:  Please visit my website for even more deals.

Code:

Please<a href="http://www.nybikerapparel.com/">visit my website</a> for even more
deals.

The url is where you want the link to go.


A picture hyperlink is done like this:

<a href="http://www.efwebgraphics.com"><img src="http://www.thecrabbyhost.com/images/eflittle.jpg"></a>

The first url shown on this code is where you want it to link to.  The second url is where the picture is located.


If I just thoroughly confused you, let me know and I'll try to help again.

I figured I had better start a new link regarding this topic instead of hanging out at the bar.  Don't want to disturb all the regulars.

My shoutbox is gone with no sign of it and it made me think what else am I missing?

Anyhow in order to try to resolve this issue I attempted to logoff in an effort to login and the system wouldn't let me logoff.
