Deb,

Could you give me instructions on how to download a new template, along with the step by step instructions on changing it so that I do not loose all my information?  I will practice with my graphic site since I do not have that much in there.

Thank You!

I have the Cherry Zen folder with all info on my desktop.  Now what do I do?  I am in my Core FTP and need to know what to do next without loosing any of my information that I have in that site.

/public_ftp/.ftpquota failed.  Do you know why and if I should try this file again if I can find it?

I went into my Zen Cart where my templates are stored and I do not see the Cherry Zen in there?

Yikes!

I have that on my computer and now I need to know exactly where on my Core I add it.

I can not believe I am doing this!  After I get real good, I'm changing my baysbeauty.com as well as I love this template.
I should have listened to you to start off with.  I love this template!

Thanks for helping.

I hope I did this right!
I clicked on my Cherry Zen and just added it there!

There's only one file in that mod and it goes into your Core Admin folder.  It will overwrite a file you already have there, but it's ok.  It won't hurt anything.

Once you get it uploaded, go into your Zen Cart Admin > Tools > layout boxes controller
Scroll all the way to the bottom and click 'default' (I think that's what it says) and it will save your current sidebox layout.

Then if you have the Cherry Zen template installed, go to Tools > Template Selection>  click edit and pick Cherry Zen from the dropdown box.  Click update (or whatever the button says  hysterical).

Then go back to Tools ? layout boxes controller, scroll all the way to the bottom and click 'reset'.

Then all your sideboxes you had set up previously should show up in the new template.

When I added it to my Core I added it with all the other templates that I have.  ??

Maybe I didn't add the template in the right place in my core?  troll

It must not have uploaded properly.  If you use FTP access to upload it, there is only one folder to upload and it goes into the includes folder.  Then there is Sql file you will need to install.

-------------------------------------

ok from looking that screenshot it looks like you uploaded the entire folder.  After you unzip the mod, double click on it until you see the cherry_zen folder (no 1.3 after it).  Upload it to your includes/templates

What I did was click on my whole Cherry Zen folder and uploaded it to the includes under templates, but are you saying that I open the Cherry Zen folder and add each item in there separtly?

Maybe I need to start all over.  I'm confused

I bring each one of these over separately? And add then to the right right there?
