Downloadable Files To The Server

I am in my Core and the directions are telling me to make sure that the <zc-home>/download directory exists on the server. 

Where do I go to find this out?  I am in my core but I have no idea where to look this up.  I am looking though.

Ok Debi...doesn't sound like you are in your "core files" but inside the ZenCart Admin panel.

To find you core files, you will need to go into your web host Control Panel (CPanel) or access them via an FTP program.

If you go thru an FTP program, it will look like this:
http://thecrabbyhost.com/images/ftppanel.jpg

If you look in the list of files on the lefthand side, those will be your 'core' Zen files.
You can see if you have a downloads folder there.


If you go thru your web hosting control panel, just look for something named 'file manager' or something similar.  That's how you can access your core files there.

Yep Debi is in the Core and I am looking for a file name file manager on the left hand side of my Core.  I was looking on the right side.

So far all I can find are files that are on my computer not Core Files, but I'm still searching for a file named "File Manager"

OK I found through my Application Data Folder through the Core, the Core file on the left hand side and in that is:
2 files, one is named data
and then there are files or something named:
10.dir
4.dir
5.dir
6.dir
7.dir
8.dir
9.dir.
sites.idx

Am I close?  Maybe if I knew which one to bring to the right, do you think that would help me?  Yikes.

OK I found it.

But I do have all my files from my computer that show up in my Core on the left hand side.  It has always been that way.
