HELP! TOTAL DUMMY DESPERATELY NEED HELP!

Now for me to edit out the duplicate pages. Can we merge the "Information" box and the "important links" area?  I cannot totally delete all the pages in the Information area, as the contact us link has that built in contact form. But I would like to merge the two if possible. How do you have yours without any of those titles? 

And how do I edit the newsletter area?  See, "lost in space" 

You are working on your Important Links, right?   With the ez pages?

And why do you have duplicate pages my dear? 

In your Admin>Tools>Define Page Editor is where you shipping and all that is.

Check that and come back because you do not need duplicates.  Take it out of your ez pages and leave the info in your define pages.

This really isn't hard as we first need to learn what everything does in our Admin area of our Zen Cart.  It will be lots of fun for you once you figure out where everything is.  Have you been here yet?

cause..... last night before I learned about these ezpages, I was using the pg2, 3, 4 and renameing others that i wasnt going to use..... I don't want any dups, and I do plan on taking them out. But I would still like to merge the two sections to make one if possible. The information area has the link "contact us" with the built in contact form, and site map links, newsletter... I cant make that in the ezpages, so I thought those ones I'd keep. I will get rid of the dups shortly.

I see what your doing!  You are learning the hard way just like me.   

You could get rid of one of your sideboxes but I think it is best to keep both of them.

Also, is there a way to TEMPORARILY turn off/not have seen the "Gift Certificate FAQ" text? Until I can learn that, (sheesh!  ) I don't want them to think that its an available option.  And the NEWSLETTER? Where do I edit/set that up? I can't find these two things.    :confused:

I made a boo boo, my contact form that I did in the ez pages is in my header and footer. The contact us in the sidebox was done in my define page editor.

Now when doing your contact us and your newsletter in your ez pages, just add the link that links to that page and you will find that at that bottom of your ez pages and you just at your Internal Link URL there.




Where do you want to add a link that goes from one page to another so that I can better help you out there?

I do not remember if there was a way to turn off the Gift Certificate but here is where you can go to learn how to set them up.  It is really easy to do.
