I need some help with my site.

I am getting this message on most of my Custom Graphics that have FREE SHIPPING, Not Available At This Time Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time. Please contact us for alternate arrangements.


I am having problems with my checkout! There is no rhyme or reason so I am at a loss. I noticed it the other day and then again day before yesterday when a customer went in to pay for a Logo which has FREE SHIPPING and he wasn't allowed to continue with checkout because he got this message, Not Available At This Time Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time. Please contact us for alternate arrangements..

For all my products that have FREE SHIPPING, I always click Yes, Always Free Shipping and then I would click Yes, Skip Shipping Address because my item is sent via email and I really do not need the shipping address. Well doing a test on my site, I find that sometimes I get a message saying "Not Available At This Time Sorry, we are not shipping to your region at this time. Please contact us for alternate arrangements". So I go in and I change the Yes, Skip Shipping Address to No, Normal Shipping Rules and still that doesn't fix the problem. Once again I can go to checkout sometimes with this and sometimes I can't. And this is with PayPal. I have noticed that I do not have a Button anymore that says PayPal Checkout, just a button that says Go To Checkout and people do not know that is a PayPal Checkout. The GoogleCheckout is underneath and it clearly shows that it is a GoogleCheckout Button.

Does anyone have any suggestions that I could do to fix these problems?

Do you have the Free Shipping installed under the Shipping Modules section?
There are two of them in there and at least one has to be installed before it will work.

Yes I have the Free Module turned on.  Now I have all my FREE SHIPPING items working but now the problem is that all of my items are showing up FREE SHIPPING and on those items my Google Checkout isn't showing up, but my Google Checkout is showing up for my FREE items.

I used free shipping one time and if I remember correctly, the way I had to set it up was anything with 0 weight was free shipping.  Then in the product itself, I checked off 'Normal Shipping rules' (or whatever it says) instead of 'Always Free Shipping' and made sure I entered 0 for the shipping weight.

The Google Checkout part I'm clueless on since I don't use that.  Sorry!!

I am still working on that darn GoogleCheckout!  Funny thing is that it did work until I added all my FREE SHIPPING items.  Now I get this message for GoogleCheckout for all items that have a shipping fee:

* There are multiple shipping options selected and they use different shipping tax tables or some dont use tax tables

I just can't figure this out!  I have been to 3 forums and even over to Google.  Still no fix.  The funny thing is that all my FREE SHIPPING items can be bought with GoogleCheckout.

My items do not have a shipping weight because I use the Table Rate.  I'm thinking that has something to do with it, but not sure.

If you have any suggestions, I would really love to hear them.

I've just started trying to install this mod myself on a site that only has digital delivery.  :blink


I found this in the READ ME instructions that came with the mod.  I don't know if it will help you or not, but maybe it's worth looking at:


MERCHANT CALCULATED SHIPPING

In order to use this module you must have some Real Time Shipping provider,
 such as USPS or FedEx. This Module must be activated and configured in
 Modules->Shipping. For each enabled module you'll have to set the default
 values in the Google Checkout Admin UI.
This Value will be used if for any reason Google Checkout cannot reach your
 API callback to calculate the shipping price.

The available shipping methods for each shipping provider must be configured
 in includes/modules/payment/googlecheckout.php in the mc_shipping_methods
 parameter. If you want to disable one or more methods, just comment them out.
Be aware that if you mix flat rate and real time rates, both will be taken
 as merchant-calculated-shipping.
