Another question? 

Yikes!!! I hope you are not yelling at me now!

Anyway, what I need to know is I would like to know how I can have a sidebox with a new customer coupon in it and that coupon doe not rotate with any other banner?  I will continue to read to see if I can figure this out.

We never yell over questions!  We just go to the bar and order dinner & a drink, then come back and answer.        

This is how I did ours....

I went into Admin > Tools > Banner Manager
Click create new...made the new banner by uploading the coupon image.
Under where it asks what type of banner...type in a new name like CouponBanner.

Then go to Admin > Configuration > Layout Settings
Scroll down until you see where it says something about banners and look for Sidebox banners.  (There should be three)

I select Banners_all, click edit and type in CouponBanner,  Update.

Then go into Admin > Tools > Sidebox Layout Manager
Find your sidebox called Banners_all and turn it on, edit it to where you want it to display.

If you're already using your Banners_all sidebox, you can do the same thing just select one of the other Banner sideboxes...and edit it in the Layout Settings instead of the Banners_all one.

The only other way I know to do it, is to create a blank sidebox and put it in there.  I think they have a mod to do that and I'll be glad to go hunt it down for you if you want.

Do you mean Admin > Tools > Layout Boxes Controller?  As there is no Sidebox Layout Manager in there but there is a Banner Manager.

No I have had many banners in rotation already.  What I wanted to do is have my coupon stay in one sidebox and not be in rotation.  And it isn't working now since I have done what you suggested. 

I will still play with it.

Ok I just tried again and it didn't work!  Must be something that I'm not seeing.   

Anyway, I turned on the sidebox instead of banners all and now it is showing.
And this is where I would like it to be, in the upper right hand side of my site
and not rotate with any other banner.
