Zen Cart - USPS Bug Reported

Hello all.

Just had a customer inform me there was a problem with choosing a shipping method, that it defaulted to Priority Mail when they went thru checkout.

The Zen Cart Developers have come out with a patch for this glitch.

The Developers will be posting further changes or updates to the patch in this thread, so this link is the one you will need to monitor.

 


Just as an FYI... the glitch is NOT limited to Priority Mail.  It is causing problems in all mail classes.

If you use zones rates, you won't need to install it.

Quick FYI -


If you installed the Patch and notice that Parcel Post rates are extremely high (higher than Priority), the following fix has been recommended:

In the USPS config change the machinable setting to TRUE. This will give the right Parcel Post rates-- unless you are shipping non machinable boxes-- things in bags etc.
