But my question is, if that is all I do is set up two Webstores, how does that really get product on the IWAC home page.  For example, I looked under books and magazines, you have nothing in there, my webstore has 2500 books and magazines, but it really doesn't help your home page counts.  How does something like that work for you guys to pull this off long term.

Hope I am making sense here.  Seems it would help more to list for the home page in a preferred store overall, but it is so cumbersome for me to do that.

This is what you do.

The webstore feature will allow you to list one single item.

You list a very informative listing about your webstore, with detailed keywords that are linked to your website.

For example if you sell Books you would link the word books to the books section of your website.

You then run this item listing for a 30 day period and set the auto relist for a total of 10 times. You will also need to make sure that in the description there is a note at the top that this item is part of the Webstores programme and is therefore not for sale. Also make the Buy It Now price extremely high to reduce someone clicking it.

You will also Be able to list it on the Homepage, make it bold highlighted, category featured. Whatever you want as your Webstore account is also set to pay no Fees, as there are no fees in theory to pay.

I was going to bring this up earlier but felt the confusion was there so I decided to leave it to the IWAC Forum for now.

If you look around both this forum and IWACs forum you will find lots of help with SEO and the best methods to use, there is no reason at all why you cannot use that in your listing on the Webstores.

Thanks Rob, went right over my head, but I will go over to the forums over there and see if anyone has any Webstores that could show me how they did that.

No probs Alana.

The point I am trying to make is the listing counts are not what we are interested in too much, lol.

If that was the case i could easily create a few dummy accounts and fill them with various items all from dropshippers. But thats not what IWACStores is all about.

I have an example of what one Webstore owner has done with his listing..

http://www.iwacstores.com/shop.php?user_id=248

Now what this member has actually done is list one product that he actually sells along with the same price that he would sell it at. This give the viewer/visitor/potential customer options.

Also he gets the best exposure for his 'item' and Website.

I hope that was not too complicated or confusion.

Below is a quote from a news article that I feel belongs in this thread because IWACStores has known for a while now what the future of online selling is.

"What do you think the future holds for eBay and Amazon?

Ooh…Tough one. I see a big future in new fixed-price commerce. I feel most barn and attic finds have been found and I actually think there is a limit to auction fever. I think the Amazon Pay-Per-Sale (PPS) model will become more prevalent in the future and I’m not sure if eBay can make the leap to PPS without destroying auctions. I see increased competition for eBay in the fixed-price market with players like Neweggmall jumping into the action soon. eBay may become smaller as fixed-price commodity sellers flee to platforms with better pricing structures and fewer hoops to jump through to continue selling."
