All done folks.

It all went really well.

So far no glitches have been found.

If you see an image out of place or missing, report it here although we are pretty sure there is no more that needs to be done now and all is operational.

Rob - I just took  a looksie around!  My one, lonely item survived    --- the conversion that is!

On the left hand side of the page, scrolling down to 'recently sold', the first item does not have a name..There's a price of$4.50, but I can't click thru or see the item!

Haven't seen anything else yet - just looks super nice in my favorite color of blue!!!

Hi Erin.

Thanks alot for your kind words.

That little glitch you mentioned was my fault and is not related to the transfer of the new look.

All in all I feel its gone really well.

I have to say I am a bit disappointed - I was looking for the centre stage clicky banner that points to my webstore.

Oh well - the rest is dead posh - just thought I'd point out that you'd missed a bit

Ah ha, I know the answer to this one. IWAC Stores does NOT do Auctions anymore. Fixed price buy it now only. All the listings are store listings.

A.  Over 40 and CRS (can't remember _ _ _ _).
B.  Information Overload.
C.  Drama Drenched.
D.  Too much time at the Bar.
E.  All of the above.

Thanks Joe - I did list some things and they do have a 'barter' range you can enter.... rah rah rah rah rah rah

Kevin:

I'll try to summarize and then let Joe and Rob and Julie and others keep me honest.  IWAC originally opened as 'another site'.  IWAC cam to realize that the market is changing and a different platform would better serve sellers for their businesses.

So - IWAC 'closed 4 a remodel'.  Now, IWAC is a store/marketplace site only.  Sellers with their own web-stores can supplement marketing and exposure at IWAC by redirecting traffic.  Sellers may also open their own store, to have IWAC be their 'store host'.

So - when 'auctions' on IWAC do not exist.  Rather, stores exist and the premise is similar to a mall.  Think of it as a 'Brick/Mortar'. Say your largest location is downtown.  However, you want to open another location in the outskirts of the city.  With the opening of the new/smaller site, you clearly direct folks to the original/largest location if your satellite location does not have 'it'.

So - no auctions, just store items.  However, super cool if ya ask me - there's a 'barter' option.  So - if you have your store on IWAC and are listings items and you've got a 'price you want' and a 'price you'll take' - you can give this information to shoppers.

Make sense?  There's another thread/two that explains a bit more how to 'exploit' IWAC to the 'bestest' for web businesses!  This is all before my 1st cup of coffee, so I'm sure it's lame - but a simple try to explain!!  wave

Erin...

I could not have put it better myself. Well done on that summary of IWAC.

A little note on the 'Barter' feature. You the seller has the option to offer what is called a 'make offer' price range during the Item set up process. What you will need to do is tick the little box that says 'offer price range' then you will need to offer 2 prices, the lowest and the highest price you are willing to accept.

Now these prices are not shown to the general public even after you click the 'Barter' button.

Thank you so much Erin and TJR Stores.  Somehow after reading a bunch yesterday, I had gotten it all mixed up with Crabby Mkt Place and probably a couple of others...    Now to let all of this information settle in my head... morning coffee
