Well.....I talked to my parents last night, and suggested we'd decorate when they arrived.  They were quiet and then said, "Do we have to?"  hysterical hysterical hysterical hysterical hysterical

Just like my boys - I'm telling ya!!

Joe - we've got about 1/2 inch or more ice every where - so hardware store is 'out'.  When a tile in that shower was broke a while ago, my hubbie says (he may have been golfing instead) he tried every where to match it.  It's kind of an ivory or off-white - and definitely got a matte finish.  He says, "Give up on trying to clean them", and we've got white in the basement!  Of course, I really do not want a mis-matched shower, but may be my route to get it down this week  troll troll !!

The good news - this is the upstairs shower - primarily used by the boys, so I wouldn't have to 'see it' all the time.  The bad news - even if I'm not looking at it, I would know it's mismatched    !!

Surgery is pending for after the 1st of the year!  Also, we've got church closings going across the bottom of our screen - just like they do the school closings (TV).  I've never seen churches close - activities....yes - but services - no.  I would not be going anyway - I went to get my boy from work last night, and coming out of my warm garage, onto my slight incline of a driveway - went into the yard on my way to the street!

It's all covered now with more ice, so nobody will notice - scared the bejesus outa me - esp. since my van was parked on the other side of the drive - could have taken it out if I'd slid the other way.

When we returned, I pulled into the other 'flat' driveway and into hubbie's garage.  I doubt this crapola melts any time soon - so most likely no school tomorrow - ho hum.....!!  smileylol

If I could, I definitely would - it's not fun at all!  I am praying they do NOT cancel school tomorrow - I don't think I can take another day with my teenagers in my way!!!  sniff

Last night when I was yakking at my mom and dad, he was watching the weather channel.  Long story short, there was a weather 'dude' standing in the Plaza (here) yakking about our ice!  My dad said, "I've already looked at your long term weather forecast, and it's not good."

They are coming from AZ - so I'll have my heat on about 80 for two weeks!  We'll all be in shorts and t-shirts, while they're wrapped up in blankets....  hysterical hysterical hysterical hysterical hysterical hysterical
