I'm glad to be a part of your group.  I can be just as crabby as the next gal.  Especially since I have had my store on ecrater for over a month and not one sale yet.  Everyone over at that forum keeps saying patience, keep promoting, etc.  I am working very hard to make my store and all my items look great, and I'm getting alot of traffic.  Just no sales.
I don't think my prices are too high and I have a great rep over at the "feebay" (100% positive feedback).  If anyone may be able to help me, I would greatly appreciate it. Any suggestions would be helpful. If I could just get one sale, I would feel a whole lot better.
I'll be reading some of the entries here to see if I can find some answers.  Thanks, Ramona

Ramona - I went over and took a look....you've got some nice things, and I do not think they're overpriced!  I'm far from an 'expert' - these folks here know tons more than I.

If this helps you, I've been at eCrater for a while now, and it took me about 3+ months to make my first sale.  Then, things kind of started rolling along.  HOWEVER.....I do not know why, but my sales for October have just 'fallen' - can't say slowed or declined - tanked is a better word.

I've got 700+ items and was selling an average of 20-25 items each month for several months.  October - 2 total sales..... sniff sniff

I am having great success at PlunderHere (currently) tho, so it's all good.  If you only have an eCrater store, one element of 'suggestion' I can give you is to spread your wings - not so much that you are over-burdened administratively, but having some items on 1-3 sites (perhaps ... one your own) can be great for exposure and testing what's working and what's not!

Hope this helps!!  I love your items - and hope you have great sales soon!   :bye7:

Welcome To The Crabby Host BooKooGuru!

I'm so glad that you showed up!  Now I have a question for you since the market is starting to lean towards online websites, do you have a website?  Most of us here I believe do have our own websites and I must tell you that sales are picking up for me on mine more than they are in my eBay Store or the other places I sell.  I also sell on eCrater and I have only had a few sales there in about a year.  But I must be the ugly duckling because I hear many are selling pretty well over there.

Are you adding your site to search?

I have kind of gone over board with getting places like MySpace, Kaboodle, Squidoo, My Top 100 Sites and then I frequent a couple favorite forums and I see from my site that people are coming from these places to buy from me.

Anyway, I would really think about getting a website.  There is tons of knowledge here on this site about Zen Carts and then the other site that I'm a member of we also have zen carts over there as well for our websites.  If you need any help just let me know.  I'm always glad to help in any way that I can.

Thanks, Bays, and I do have a website at www.bookooguru.com  but it is for my real estate business, that BTW is doing very poorly right now, as you all might have heard.  sniff

I need to talk to Go Daddy to see if there is someway I can use the website for both my items I have for sale and my "foreclosure help" business.  We have had the name, BooKooGuru, for many years.  Branding is very important.

I do have a house for sale right now, information is in my ecrater store, in case anyone wants to move to Texas.  It's a great deal.
