Stupidity is its own punishment.

« on: December 07, 2007, 10:12:23 PM »

ONE of my latest projects has been to redesign my EF Graphics site.  I loved the little doggie, but that yellow was getting on my last nerve.

So...I went the total opposite direction.  It must be the winter influence.  hysterical hysterical hysterical hysterical
Overlook most of the products.  Those are getting a make over too.

Anyway, here it is the new and hopefully improved EF Graphics & Web Design

Be honest.  I can take it!  I won't ban anyone, I promise.

Well.....I took a looksie and it looks super sharp.  I think you've done a Great JOB!!!  Now - remember I'm Queen Numpty, so all that I offer is with no experience  !!!

Is it possible and logical to perhaps add another page/area to your site that explains what zencart is and how to best use it?  When I write anything, I always assume my reader(s) are k-garden level or lower - thus try to explain  (using tons of key words) exactly what, why, when, who, etc.

For your site, you can (if desired, and if logical) detail out ----

 - Zen Cart
 - Template
 - Banners
 - Logos
 - Customization and how it works and why
 - ETC.

I see to the right, you have links that discuss your items, zen-cart hosting, etc. - perhaps there.  If you don't think these things need to be on your site, all great topics for a blog or a squidoo lens - that link backs to your site.

Does this make sense?  One thing I've picked up on is that search engines do like great content.  One way to embrace key-word rich content is to define and suggest.

I do love the colors - close enuf to blue with navy ---- super cool!!!

Hey Deb,

Well just when I thought I had seen your best you amaze me again. What is really striking to me is the use of custom images for the category button's. I know those button's must have taken you hours each to do. The end result is phenomenal. The upper toolbar is amazing, I love the squared off search box, very unique. You have without a doubt set a standard that will be tough to match when it comes to CUSTOM Zen Cart Templetes. Not many people realize what CUSTOM really means when it comes to templetes. Changing colors is one thing and an easy way out. What you do truly makes the sites you design stand out from the rest. Simple color changes don't do it. It's the CUSTOM work that you do as well as the SEO setups out of the gate that make your site designs so effective.

I must say some people are good at web design, some people are good at SEO. Deb is unique in that she is good at both.
