Riverwood's - Would Appreciate Comments/suggestions!

Hi All,

I would appreciate any suggestions & comments on my new riverwood's site www.riverwoodsbooks.com

I know from reading Crabby's marketing suggestions, I've got a little too much we specialize, we carry blah blah  ..... For someone who loved to write and write & write in school, I seem to have lost the ability to write an interesting introduction, LOL! .... any suggestions for what else might be fun/eye catching to have on the front page??

I would buy a book from you!
In fact when I get a chance, which better be soon, I need to get the summer reading list for my boys! Our school system requires high schoolers to read a book in the summer. Which my boys think is just awful!

A whole ONE book - the poor babies! LOL!  Such abuse from the school system!

                              frist  u have a great site   ~ i think your text is a little small   "2"  would me great  easy to change  also your catg  text is a mite small also   a lot of ppl  can't see small print 

  also  the middle of your home page is empty space going to waste  for eye catching something

Love the store. Is there any way of getting some listing titles under the description of store on the first page? As a buyer I like to glance around without having to go into too many categories. I also agree with vinewood, if you could make the font slightly bigger for those of us who don't see like we used to (I am a glasses wearer).

Otherwise the store looks fantastic. Keep up the good work!

I can't change the size of the category text, but the center text I could increase. People could increase the text size on their page for that I guess.  You're quite right about the center of the page, I do need more info/pictures & whatever there - I just haven't figured out yet what that should be!  I'm going to need to spend some time with it.  Thanks for your comments!

Yes - to help fill up your landing page, if you could put pictures or a listing of different titles or authors. Sorry, sometimes I confuse myself when I talk to me

I'll try that this week Patti, I need to spend some time on that front page.  I can certainly understand the confusion.  I get like that when the committee in my head all start shouting different opinions! LOL!

I love the cat in the front, and it is very easy to navigate.

Thanks Patty!  No, I haven't changed the text yet, you must be younger (or your eyes anyway) than some here, won't mention any names!! LOL!
