Quote
1) Setup online payments first
2) Purchase an SSL Cert.
3) Purchase a custom designed Logo. As I said pick a team or group of teams with similar colors.
4) Flow the site colors around that logo
5) Please remove the pink background from the pictures of cards. Recommend a black background for lighter cards and a white background for the darker cards.

joe  most   of these will get done   soon  i hope !!!

Wes I am not an expert, and in fact hired someone to design my site, who soon after bailed on me. Thank goodness Deb came into the picture and helped me get the site completed and launched. So my opinions are strictly based from a buyer point of view. I also know how hard it is to decide on what you want vs. what customers both want and will demand of you.

Wes the two colors in your header that are both appealing and could be used are the navy and hunter green. Those are both complimentary to your merchandise and not hard on the eyes. It sounds like you are going to get an SSL which is a must and will build up confidence from your buyers. They want to feel safe and also offering a generous return policy goes a long way.

Good luck with your site whatever you decide on.

Looking much better Wes, you actually may have pulled off the color (I still like the green better). I do however see one major issue with the site other then SSL and online payments which you said you were working on.

I notice the entire site is set inside a HTML table. Yes it does eliminate the space of background at the very top BUT, it also makes it much harder for the bots & spiders to index your site. The look you desire can be attained without the HTML table so I would remove the table ASAP. Also I like the new Logo very nice but again it looks as if that isn't clickable back to the homepage. I wonder if this is an oversight or again a side effect of the HTML table.

Again Wes a much better design than what you released as the finished product a few days ago. I wish you the best of luck and many sales. Just make sure you get the HTML table out of there ASAP because it will kill your search results.

Hey Wes, it's lookin' good!  :greenhoho:

This color scheme is working much better than the blue, orange and brown. Like Joe said, the header/logo is much, much better.

These are my only suggestions/concerns:

1) As Joe mentioned, that html table around the actual template really needs to go.  It looks like it's gone, but it's not.  It's just been widened to give the appearance of not being a table.

My concerns with this table is not only the SEO factor, but it's also throwing a lot of html errors when you run it through the W3C Validator.  There are 116+ errors and while some of them are due to other things, the majority are coming from these outside html table(s).

See Validator Results Here:  Vinewoods Validator Results

The next suggestions are strictly from a 'designers' point of view:

2) Personally, I would darken the outside edge color just a shade or two to differentiate it from the sidebox headers.  You want the Center area to be the main focus drawing a customers eyes.

3) Not sure why, but the search box on the left is not centered and is running over the edge of the sidebox a couple or three pixels.   I would remove one of the two search boxes if it was me anyway.

4) The background behind the main navigation (home, account, etc.) looks really nice.  Now you just need to get the background behind the search box to match it.

Overall it's a vast improvement.  Glad to see it's coming together for you!  :wreath:
