Google products now appears on the google homepage!!!!

Just got word of this myself but finally google products has a spot all to itself on the google homepage. See link below and look between images and news top left:

This will in effect help the way buyers search for specific products online. Although there are issues with getting your items from base to show up in google products all in all some small changes will need to be made to titles as well as meta tags to improve your results. Keywords and phrases will become more and more important as google products gains exposure in organic search.

I use product search alot, and went looking for it the other day like always and there it was right on top.
 

I always wondered if regular buyers who aren't internet savvy would have ever thought to look for it in the more drop down.

I doubt the typical Joe Shopper would know it was there!  I think it's awesome to have it back on front!!!

I admit I never knew it was there until Joe pointed it out to me recently. 

I never searched Products.  I'm one of those shoppers who just types it in my Google toolbar and searches from there.
