Thanks Crabby, they look like alt tags.  Might have to study this some to get them to work on my Candy Press cart. LOL.

Well they are both.  Alt Tags and links.

I don't know if this will help or not, but here is the html code for the last paragraph on my Soaps homepage:

Quote
<p align="justify">Our <a style="TEXT-DECORATION: none" href="http://www.bathnsoaps.com...hp?main_page=products_all">Country Meadow bath &amp; body products are based on natural ingredients such as <a style="TEXT-DECORATION: none" href="http://www.bathnsoaps.com...hp?main_page=products_all">shea butter, <a style="TEXT-DECORATION: none" href="http://www.bathnsoaps.com...mp;keyword=avocado+butter">avocado butter, <a style="TEXT-DECORATION: none" href="http://www.bathnsoaps.com...1&keyword=coconut+oil">coconut oil, <a style="TEXT-DECORATION: none" href="http://www.bathnsoaps.com...amp;keyword=rice+bran+oil">rice bran oil, plant extracts and various <a style="TEXT-DECORATION: none" href="http://www.bathnsoaps.com..._page=index&cPath=8_9">emollients and conditioners. They use only the finest essential oils, high quality skin safe fragrance oils, natural herbs, and other <a style="TEXT-DECORATION: none" href="http://www.bathnsoaps.com...page=index&cPath=8_11">nourishing natural ingredients. We offer luxury products using simple ingredients for a tranquil experience in your own home or spa setting. </p></font>

Then here is what actually shows on the homepage (if my text links were in blue):

Quote
Our Country Meadow bath & body products are based on natural ingredients such as shea butter, avocado butter, coconut oil, rice bran oil, plant extracts and various emollients and conditioners. They use only the finest essential oils, high quality skin safe fragrance oils, natural herbs, and other nourishing natural ingredients. We offer luxury products using simple ingredients for a tranquil experience in your own home or spa setting.

Maybe that will help show what I did.

Oh wow! This is the stuff I look for that will help my business! Thank-you so very much for your help Crabby!  I had to play with it and I am not even close to being done on that home page, but I think I got what your talking about and it did validate for me as well. I was very worried about validating.  LOL. Can you take a look at my cherished treasures site and tell me if this is what your talking about.

Crabby:
I have been playing with your "featured products" code on my site and here is the code I am using:

  <!--  featured products  -->
 <table width="100%" border="0" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0">
  <tr>
    <td colspan="2" class="CPbox2H" style="text-align: center;">Featured Products</td>
  </tr>

    <tr>
    <td width="48%" align="center" valign="top"><div class="centerBoxContentsFeatured centeredContent" style="width:98%;">
    Womens White and Pink Half Apron" title=" Womens White and Pink Half Apron " width="150" height="175
Womens White and Pink Half Apron
$15.00</td>

    <td class="vDotLine" rowspan="2"></td>
    <td width="48%" align="center" valign="top"><div class="centerBoxContentsFeatured centeredContent" style="width:98%;">Womens Vintage Blue Feathered Union Made Hat" title=" Womens Vintage Blue Feathered Union Made Hat " width="150" height="175
Womens Vintage Blue Feathered Union Made Hat
$30.00</td>

</tr>
</table>
 </div></div>

It is stretching my page out and I can't get the green bar to go all the way across.  What is wrong with my code here or how would I make it fit my page?

Actually I figured out the green bar thing, I just need to figure out how to stop the stretch.

Alana,

You did the text on the homepage perfect!

The featured products part is built into the ZenCart and is done with php...but I'm sure you could do the same with html.

I looked at your code and I'm not seeing anything wrong, but I could be missing it. Try tweaking the 98% part down and see if that makes a difference.  That's usually where I start when a page is stretching.  Process of elimination.

Thanks Crabby, yep there is a whole new planet between PHP and ASP and it does take a bit of work to get my CSS to flow in a reasonable fashion, that makes sense. I knew I was pulling that code from a PHP and it was going to take some work for me. I guess I could have turned on my featured products list in my cart too.  DUH!!!!

Wow thanks so much for your help! Well appreciated.

One of these days I am going to think about diving into the world of PHP and I just don't know when that is going to happen. I know it isn't going to happen until after the holidays. The only cart I have actually seen that I honestly like is the Zen Cart.

So it may happen one of these days when I want to visit that other planet.
