Joe - I'm so glad that there is some 'output' from the posts --- whether it's at PSU, PH, Here or other.  It doesn't matter where help comes from - it just needs to appear!

Harold - that' super, super nice what you wrote.  The absolute best thing about writing - whether a poem, a letter, a journal - is the therapeutic part!  I know that Martha will love it!

I'm off to get cleaned up for church!     Continued thoughts and prayers to all!  Hey JOE - you're not such a 'bad guy' after all - eh?  JK!!!  hysterical hysterical hysterical

Good afternoon all

The testing of Martha’s lymph nodes has shown that the cancer has “not” spread beyond the pelvic area at this time. That news was like Christmas all over again. The bad part is the tumor was too large to remove. She has to start radiation and chemotherapy in about two weeks. That is to give her some time to heal from the surgery. I helped her shower this morning. That has tired her but she feels better.

Her Doctor has told us that the treatments will be strong and last for about eight weeks. They will be every weekday. She, the Doctor, does not want Martha to be alone for at least the next two and a half months. That is going to be hard but I have to do it. The donations we have received have helped fill some gaps. I think she is going to post some of her thoughts here this afternoon. Some of her meds make her even loonier than normal if that is even possible.

The SHS idea is wonderful. I feel something good can come out of Martha having this problem. It seems like the first rumblings of a movement that can become something we all can have pride in. Anything I can do I will do just let me know what help is needed to get this off the ground.

I feel I need to say something to those of you that smoke. DO NOT DO IT and that is all I have to say about that. Thank you for letting me get that out. I feel much better.

TPG,
I am so glad that Martha has you beside her through all of this.  Many, many people don't have the support of family, let alone friends.  You are both in my prayers and thoughts and you will remain there!!

Martha, you behave yourself and try not to give him to much of a hard time...well...okay...you can give him a hard time but only for 23 hours per day...He needs an hour off...welll...maybe not the whole hour...

I would like to thank everyone for being there for me. This is the hardest thing I have ever done. And the pain. wow. My spelling and all will be out of whack I am on so much meds. they have to write it down. I am in so much pain I can't stand it. I try not to let my family see but they know. I am so depressed it hurts. I don't know why but it I am. I sit and cry which is not me Debbie knows that but today I cannot stop. Everyones support means alot to me. I cannot express in words. Joe calling at the hospital meant alot. And talking to Debbie out of the hospital. You don't know how much it means. And all the other people who are cheering me on it means alot. I love you all. My husband, In laws, and children have been great. I love them so much for how they are comming together. My sister (the only one I have left has not even called) Today has been my toughest day I am sitting and crying I wish it was easier. Sorry for the post I needed to get it off my chest.   Deb. give me a call when you get a chance.
Thanks for letting me rant.

Martha - ranting is always allowed here at crabby!  That's one of the elements that make it 'human' - we do share the truth....which isn't always easy to hear, swallow or handle.  I'm sure sorry that you're having a tough day.  If we could, I think each of us here would take away your pain and your troubles!!  Know that many thoughts, prayers and good vibes are 'here' and 'around' for you.  Walk through all your emotions; you will always come out in a better place if you go through it.

Harold - (and Martha):  I am very glad to hear the news about the containment of the cancer.  While it would have been better to have removed the tumor, the facts that it was found 'now' and that it's not spread are very good news.

You both 'vent', 'yell' and keep all of us updated!  We'll listen and help always if we can!

Harold and Martha - when time allows you, you may want to see post 10 on the thread below.

http://plunderhere.com/fo...ums/showthread.php?t=4300

April is a great friend of mine and she (last year) just went thru Cancer and the relative treatments.  She's awesome and I am quite certain if needed, she wouldn't mind me giving you her email if you've got questions about her experience, or the items she discusses.

Luv and Hugs to all  ----- when and where are we having the crabby vacation?  There is just too much testosterone in my home today and I'm tired of breaking up fights - ya know?    troll

Hey everyone,

Just wanted to stop in and let everyone know the SHS site is up and going. I will be adding content as often as time allows but everyone has a chance to post there as well and leave a comment. Here is the site:

www.sellershelpingsellers.org

I know Deb has been working on Martha's ribbon so they will update all by themselves wherever they have been posted.

I would like to give mention here of a few sites that have been active in this promotion.

www.plunderhere.com Thank you Mo for the use of the forum where Erin posted and also for your donation. You rock Mo!!!

www.ubidright.com Thank you for your participation in the thread at PSU as well as your donation. Your insight into this experience is also very helpful.

Erin, thank you very much for your promotion. You have done a great thing with those threads and thank you to all who have posted in them.

To all who have donated, Thank you!!! Not only have you made a difference in Martha's recovery, you have shown us all that there is a true desire for sellers to help one another.

To Martha & Harold. Thank you for allowing us all inside your hearts.

Wishing everyone the best.

Deb

I want to thank you for all you are doing for Martha. She talks about you a lot. Talking to you on the phone today seemed to help her. She is very depressed. I try telling her this is going to pass but it is to new for her and for me as well. I have been leaning on Joe for support I guess you are becoming Martha's support. I do not know why the two of you are doing this for us, we do not even know each other. The ribbon you made for Martha is wonderful. No tweeking please. You got it right.

What a great place this is.

Martha and Harold you need to know the depression will pass.  It is hard to belive that things can be so bad, but I know it will pass.  Stay strong and know there are so many people out there wishing you well, love and best wishes and a few other things.

God Bless

Actually, I don't mean to be a pain, but would it be possible to have a ribbon coded that goes right to the SHS blog? I could probably do it but it would take me all day! The html code brain cells aren't all clicking together in my head yet.

Good morning all -

Sue....if the experts don't provide some code for ya, post a thread here for the place you want the ribbon to redirect (I'm confused easily today - too much going on) and I'll give it a shot!

Deb....Great Ribbon - you did marvelous and it's awesome!!!

Joe....I'll keep going.  Got a bit derailed yesterday with football, testosterone and a few other distractions - but - we'll get the word out.

Martha and Harold....my friend April (from the Plunderhere post) also lives in Virginia.  I had not paid attention before to where you all were located, but she's in the same state.    Hugs, prayers and positive energy sent today - all day - from Kansas!

Off to the races all - actually....just off to catch up!!
