PS - we had a BBQ over the winter break - it was about 20 degrees, and we had a blizzard.  I did NOT grill - it was a guy thing - gotta new grill for Christmas and had to test it out!!

Well see - there ya go!  I can retire from any/all income attempts, and just fine these darn teenagers!!!!! 

So - what should the fine be when it's in the teens, and you find a bedroom window open?    - my gas bill was only $310 last month -  !!!

I'll be freezing my happy places off and he's in his room with the window open!!!!!!! ARGH!!!!!!!!  When I tell him to close it, he whines.... "BUT IT'S HOT IN HERE!!!"  What??  Are you kidding me??  It's 7 degrees outside!!!!!!! 

I swear, maybe I'll just sell him for some income.....

OK - my day is sucking wind big time....

First - both boys are super grumpy, about knock each other out and both get nasty with me!

Second - I get them out the door, and discover the 'open window' in the sub-zero temperatures.

Third - get my list, out the door, get my special flavored coffee creamer, come home to brew some coffee - coffee maker fries out.

Fourth - go to surgeon's office for tendon follow-up, we get lectured on 'lack of treatment' - he refers us to a PT - 4 times a week 4 for weeks!

Fifth - can't find insurance card; needed 4 the PT, call the helpless desk, on hold for an hour - takes 8-10 days to get replacement.

6th - Thunderbird Mail (FF product) - imploded....will not download my messages - thank goodness I can see them (and all the freakin junk mail) on their server.

7th - None of the solutions for the FF TB Mail issue are working.

I'm sure 8, 9, 10 will follow shortly - the evening is just starting....

Erin, check and make sure that you don't have an update from adobe waiting to install...I had one earlier and it messed up 2 different programs while it sat there impatiently.  Once I installed it and did a reboot...all my problems went away.  (Maybe a reboot will make your 2 boys go away...for a few moments anyways.  Or was that a big boot in the asparagus??? I get confooosed.... )

We owe the tax man this year    Not because we are rich but because we lost a dependent, well he still lives in our house but he earned too much so we cut him loose. Man that hurt, and the chihuahua can't replace him.
 

Teenagers 
Progress reports came out this week, and by some strange planetary alignment my son couldn't produce the one from his Chemistry class. Hmmmm, well the teacher calls and says your son is failing my class.
 

If we can just get him to graduate on time I will finally breathe.
I have a feeling I may have gray hair long before I should

Kevin - I've done just about anything and everything I can 'find' on the internet related to the error message I am getting with Thunderbird!  Darn it anyway!!!

I'm just about ready to delete all my freakin' mail files, and reload the whole program.  But - I gotta wait until morning so while I'm supposed to be sleeping, I can determine the risk associated with that move...

I got everything new... new sofa/loveseat, slate and wood coffee and matching end tables and sofa table.  I don't know if you remember but my hubby works at a local furniture store as their IT director and gets a 15% discount... so we just waited until it was on sale and with the discount too we could also afford the tables!!!!  YAY!!!  It's like a whole new room!!  I also included a pic of our fireplace and although from the pix, you can't really tell but the slate in the fire place has the same colors at the slate inlays on the table tops.  We haven't had anything new in so long!!!  The dog is being really good and hasn't even tried to get up on it.  The kitties are loving it because there is enough room for everyone... LOL (I shooed them out for the pix though).

The furniture also reclines.... now THAT's class!!!!    You can see my hamster cage (Mr. Sniffles) in the one corner behind the sofa table.  The stained glass insert on the wall above the love seat is framed with the same colored wood and the sun shines in in the afternoon...

Do you want to see pix of my new bedroom too??  We redid it last may...

Wowsers, that is really nice. It is sooooo clean too. Wanna come clean mine? 

We are remodeling our kitchen, going on 2 months. We are doing it all by ourselves so it is gonna take time.
 

It is gonna be fabulous when it's all done. No more butcher block countertops
