Hi all. I am at the hospital right now Martha's Doctor came out a while ago. It doesn't look good for her. The cancer is in the lymph node system. I will know more later.

I talked to both Martha and Harold today at the hospital where Martha was to undergo surgery yesterday to remove a tumor for cervical cancer. I spent nearly an hour on the phone talking to both of them and was asked to relay what the outcome was of that surgery. I unfortunately do not bring good news today as the tumor was inoperable at this time. Further testing will be conducted as it seems as if the cancer has spread to her lymph node system. There is no prognosis as of yet however chemo therapy will be started as a treatment in the next few weeks.
From speaking to both of them I can say that Martha's spirits are good but there is a definite sense of pain in her voice which is understandable. Harold is the character I always know him as and will not leave Martha's side. We even had a laugh comparing speel chekers, he likes the forum one, I like the Google toolbar one. They do have one of those television PC's in the room so I am sure they both will be checking in on this thread from time to time. Hopefully we can all crack a smile on there faces in this thread and the other threads throughout the forum, even better I think we can make that happen even quicker with what I am suggesting below.

Taking this a step further. I have spoken to a few auction site owners explaining the SHS promotion and asked if they would allow outlinks in listings from there sites to the fundraiser listing's. Those site owners can post here if this will be allowed and or start a thread in there sites linking to this thread as it is explained here.
If you do not wish to donate but want to help you can display the ribbon linking it to the fundraiser listing's at sites like Squidoo or blogs. Display it in your listing's where applicable but please do not display at any eBay pages because it will violate their terms of service. People who do wish to donate I also encourage them to display the ribbon wherever they can. Landing pages and forum siggies will also work.
