This is a new and upcoming site (members seem to be skyrocketing daily).
http://www.indiepublic.com
It reminds me of MySpace for crafters & lovers of handmade items!
I think it is pretty cool, lots of options and of course some beautiful handmade items!
I am still working on mine:

Patty!
I checked out your IndiePublic profile a see that one of your friends is Little Bears Crochet Den!
I haven't "seen" her since I left Wagglepop. Would you please tell her I said HELLO? She was always so nice to me on the boards.
IndiePublic looks like a great place for crafters!

Hi Sue,
I sure will tell her you said hi! Some of us still get together for a daily "chat", I had thrown up my own forum. Nothing compared to Crabby, as I just don't have the time, but it is a little spot were we share daily nonsense. You are more than welcome to come in and say hello!

.
But I will pass along the hello!
Yes, Indiepublic is fun, your posts and such make it on the homepage for a time, so good exposure. :)
Best,
Patty

Nice looking site Patti and unlike MySpace, I don't feel like I need to take a hot shower after visiting there.
Your page looks really good and very professional. I likes it alot!
Please keep us informed on how this works for you.

I sure will.
It has some really neat features that appear on the homepage. It shows most recent blog posts, most recent forum topics which is great for both indexing & traffic. I have noticed some increase in traffic coming from there, so I will keep everyone posted.
I do agree about the "shower" part. I have a MySpace, but I could just never get into it. My sister loves it though, as she is divorced and all her friends are on it!
Chat later!

What a perfect site for you Patty.
I hope you make tons of great connections, and of course a few customers never hurts.

I originally went to indiepublic to market my daughters handcrafted keyrings - please ignore the ebay widget - Annie doesnt actually have any keyrings listed - would you believe that she sells maybe half adozen keyrings a year but she has to register as a business owner!!!
Am waiting to find out how to do that as Annie has a severe learning disability and cant actually sign contracts etc - I sell her keyrings through my auction site accounts.
