Sure thing - anything is 'game' - so long as:

1.  You prepare it.
2.  You cook it.
3.  You clean up.

When I remind them (the 3 amigos) of the rules, it's usually left-overs, sandwiches, or cereal - as they do not want to be bothered with cleaning a huge mess (and all 3 are the messiest cooks I've ever seen!!!)

Ah! Thank you Erin!
That clean up part, baffles the crew over here!

You're welcome!  Yes....I've never had so much fun watching as when it's 'clean up' time -  !!!

Of course, they have anal Erin 4 the WIC (woman in charge) or the MIC (Mom in charge) or the PIC (Parent in charge) ---- who perfects inspection like a militant person, and does require re-work when the task is not completed satisfactorily - stuck stuff to my counters or sink puts me over the edge!!!  hysterical hysterical hysterical hysterical

That meatball recipe has been around our house for as long as I can remember.  My sister had me try it years ago when I still ate meat.  I couldn't believe how well it tasted either.  If I had not of tried it for myself I would never use the recipe now.  Plus to simplify if you are really in a hurry (always) you can purchase the meatballs premade in the grocery store or one of the bulk food chains.

All this reminds me of a story regarding a very young nephew, my mom and one slice of bread.  That was all that was left to make a sandwich.  My mom wanted to make a grilled cheese and my nephew wanted her to put cheese and grape jelly on it.  So after listening to the 2 of them bicker back and forth for way to long I helped to settle the argument with a trade off.  I told my mom that if he wouldn't eat it after she cooked it that I would, and he promised to eat a bowl of soup if he didn't eat the sandwich.  The whole time she was cooking my mom and newphew still kept disputing about the sandwich.  When it was all said and done I taste tested the grilled cheese and grape jelly sandwich and it was delicious.  My nephew ate the whole sandwich and I ended up running up to the store for more bread so we could all have our own sandwich.  Til this day my mom won't try the combo, but we sure do laugh about it.  Maybe they should serve that in the bar tonight?

I'll have to pass that one on to my brother.  He loves peanut butter!  His favorite is peanut butter and cucumber or sweet pickles... He ever puts peanut butter on toast and in his hot breakfast cereal...

A friend of mine used to put Hershey's chocolate syrup on her peanut butter sandwich.  I always thought that was discusting.  Right now I am hungry and that doesn't sound so bad
