Stupidity is its own punishment.

We have a new look!      Betcha hadn't noticed!!
Hopefully, y'all will like it, because it gives you more control over the font and the display sizes.  It also made it possible for us to add a whole lot of 'perks' to the site.  Important useful stuff like the Rock, Paper, Scissors Game.   hysterical

First things first - The Display Settings:

In the upper right hand corner you should see the display settings.
Click and experiment!  I promise you won't break anything.

In the upper left hand corner you should see  H |  L  |  R
These control whether or not you see the sideboxes or the header.  Again...feel free to click and experiment!

If you really hate the new colors or layout....
Go into your Profile and click on "Look and Layout Preferences" (left hand side).
Click on Current Theme: Forum or Board Default (change)
You can select which theme you prefer!  Cool, huh?

We've also added the following:

Rock, Paper, Scissors Game  -  For those times when you are bored completely out of your mind.

The Crabby Marketplace - You can find a link to The Crabby Marketplace in the rotating banners or on the forum homepage. For information on how to submit your site please visit this thread: The Crabby Marketplace - How To Submit Your Site

ShoutBox! - For the time being, we're using this kind of like a Share Your Wares.  Just type in the type items you have for sale and a link to your site.  If you look at the examples...you can get an idea of how it works.   Any problems...just let me know.

If you have any questions or problems with anything, let me know!

OK I realize I'm rater late at getting here and still trying to find my way around, but I can't find several things mentioned in your first post. Mainly these 2  - Member Links Page - This is located under Articles

I don't particularly care about the links, but the Articles would be helpful. I've gotten used to that "recent posts" in the sidebar on PSU as it helps me quickly find stuff. I don't always look at the "trail" to see which forum a thread is in so later I sometimes have trouble finding it again. Also in a site that has lots of forums like both do, I don't always look at ALL the forums, but if a thread title seems to interest me I may look in. Do I have to change something in my profile to see this feature or has it been taken out ??

Also maybe I'm just a bit dense and haven't figured it out yet, but what is the "look" for a thread that has a new post ?? I saw the color dif for forums that have new posts, but once IN the forum, I can't see any dif at all.

Please help me figure it out.
Thanks,
Carol

Hi Carol!
I think the layout of The Crabby Host has been changed since this thread was started.
I will alert Deb on your new post. Then she can address your questions.
On the Forum board the topics have a button next to them and it changes color when there is a new post, once you've clicked on the topic the threads inside will have a blue "new" symbol by them.
Does this help you at all?
Let me know and I will get Deb!

  Joe,

I also did some more exploring after I made that post and I found the "recent articles" in the "news" tab on the top right. Not as convenient but at least I can find the active stuff.

Thanks,
Carol
