Google Pak has now added a free download for StarOffice Suite. You can select this as a separate download or load up on lots of great free tools from Google Pak.

StarOffice Suite costs 70 dollars if downloaded from the Sun website.

Actually StarOffice and OpenOffice are just about the exact same thing. OpenOffice started as StarOffice and is still mostly maintained by the folks from Sun.

I've been using OpenOffice for about 3 years now and would never go back to M$.
