Zen Demo Cart

We have installed a Zen Cart Demo on The Crabby Host.

This cart has several 'test' products installed on it which shows various examples of how products can be set up. 

You can check out the Admin side of the cart by clicking here:  Crabby Host Zen Cart Admin

Username: testcart
Password: testcart

Please do not change any of the settings. 


Also note....I am not to blame for this template or layout!  This is what a 'fresh install' of a Zen Cart looks like.  I haven't tweaked anything and it's killing me!!

I just tried to look at the admin for the test cart but the
Username: demo
Password: testcart

aren't being accepted by the log-in.

Just thought you should know.

BTW, does ZenCart have a mod for Google Checkout ??

It's not on your test page but I would definately want to be able to use GC.

Yes it does have a mod for Google Checkout. 


I have GC installed on all of mine and Joe's carts...well except one of Joe's, which I'm supposed to be working on now 

It works great.  The shipping can be a bit tricky to set up sometimes, but I'm sure we could help you out with that.

I looked at your own sites and they are really nice. Well customized so they don't look like an "out of the box" site. That's what I'll be trying to acheive eventually.

I did also find the ZenCart forum and started looking a bit there. I just found the thread about GC but haven't had a chance to read it yet.

Not sure how soon I'll be trying to tackle this, but hopefully sooner than later.

Thank you for the compliments on our sites.  I try hard to give them a personality of their own.   


The Google Checkout thread at the Zen Forum is scary.   
I think it starts with the very first version which was a living nightmare. They moved the most recent discussions to a Google Group because they have someone from Google working with them on the mod now.

They just released a new version this month which Rob (IWAC) installed on his zencart with no trouble whatsoever this morning.  Ok...he had a little trouble, but it was user error. Sorry Rob...had to rat you out!     

The best place to find the most recent info on GC is at the Zen Cart Google Group:

You'll get questions answered much quicker there.
